The project will be implemented in Podlaskie Province in the municipalities of Czarna Białostocka, Dąbrowa Białostocka, Dobrzyniewo Kościelne, Janów, Knyszyn, Sokółka, Sużowola, Supraśl, Szukovo, Wasilków, within the Natura 2000 site Ostoja Knyszynska (PLH 200006).The aim of the project is to improve the habitat status of certain types of peatland and forest and to improve the population of endangered plant species associated with this type of habitats by halting the succession change and in bog habitats, also by improving water conditions.The following safeguards are planned:On the habitat of the thermal-like oak oak of the type 91I0, the local removal of the conchite shading of the bottom of the forest or a permanent reduction in the short circuit to around20 % as well as localised expanders of perennial plants combined with the removal of biomass, for the habitats of the pine fresh worms, the local removal of the subneck and, subsequently, the local manual removal of the silicon and bycables and the removal of the over-layer of the humus layer in order to expose the bare soil, combined with the removal of biomass, on peat bogs with initial stands on the site of bog bog — removal of the birch tree with the severe displacement of the ground as a result of transpiration.It is expected that the cuts and the removal will be repeated in the following years, in three conversions in each of the removals covered by the protection.Protective treatment will be preceded by a mapping exercise aimed at detailing the location of the habitats and the selection of the merits most suitable for conservation activities.The project also includes a wide range of information and promotional activities, such as publications, conferences, popular science sessions and workshops, and a dedicated web service. Projekt będzie realizowany w woj. podlaskim na terenie gmin Czarna Białostocka, Dąbrowa Białostocka, Dobrzyniewo Kościelne, Janów, Knyszyn, Sokółka, Suchowola, Supraśl, Szudziałowo, Wasilków, w granicach obszaru Natura 2000 "Ostoja Knyszyńska" (PLH 200006). Celem projektu jest poprawa stanu siedlisk niektórych typów torfowisk oraz widnych lasów, a także poprawa stanu populacji zagrożonych gatunków roślin związanych z tego typu siedliskami przez zahamowanie zmian sukcesyjnych, a na siedliskach bagiennych - także przez poprawę warunków wodnych. Planowane są następujące zabiegi ochronne: Na siedlisku ciepłolubnych dąbrów typu 91I0 - miejscowe usunięcie podszytu zacieniającego dno lasu lub trwałe zmniejszenie zwarcia podszytu do ok. 20% a także miejscowe wykaszanie ekspansywnych bylin połączone z usuwaniem biomasy, Na siedliskach sosnowych borów świeżych - miejscowe usunięcie podszytu a następnie miejscowe ręczne usuwanie krzewinek i bylin oraz zdejmowanie nadkładowej warstwy próchnicy w celu odsłonięcia nagiej gleby, połączone z usuwaniem biomasy Na torfowiskach z inicjalnymi, zastępczymi drzewostanami brzozowymi na siedlisku boru bagiennego - usuwanie drzewostanu brzozowego, powodującego silne przesuszanie podłoża w wyniku transpiracji. Przewiduje się powtarzanie cięć i usuwanie odrośli w kolejnych latach, w trzech nawrotach w każdym wydzieleniu objętym ochroną. Zabiegi ochronne zostaną poprzedzone inwentaryzacją mającą na celu uszczegółowienie danych o rozmieszczeniu siedlisk, oraz wybór wydzieleń najbardziej odpowiednich do działań ochronnych. Projekt obejmuje również wiele działań informacyjno-promocyjnych takich jak publikacje, konferencje, sesje popularno-naukowe i warsztaty oraz dedykowany serwis internetowy. (Polish)
