‘The project aims at implementing its own innovative technology which will result in the placing on the market of a new type of geotechnical profiles, in particular at the parent.The essence of the new technology is the innovative combination of PVC and glass fibre with a thermoplastic matrix that will provide PVC with significantly higher technical parameters and a wider field for applications.The innovative technology planned to be implemented by the company S. and A. will make it possible to create geo-technical profiles on the parameters that can be obtained only on the basis of the very different steel production technology that has been used for many years.It will also provide opportunities for further research and development to increase the strength of PVC without losing its benefits (mainly by weight, price) and its extension.The main beneficiaries of the project will be the entities active in the geoengineering and water engineering industry dealing with, among other things, the regulation of the banks of the rivers, security of the banks, construction of water courses, embankments, drainage, construction of other types of security against filtration of pollution or landslides.There is no product on both the European and the world market which would combine the advantages of gparent of PVC (mainly price, low weight, high resistance to rust, chemicals and biodegradation) and steel (technical parameters).The technology is in line with both the economic and environmental and social needs which Poland and Europe are confronted with by significantly improving the technical performance of the product while maintaining the relatively low purchase price and the cost of transport and assembly, as well as the high environmental care.” (English)

    "Celem projektu jest wdrożenie własnej innowacyjnej technologii, której rezultatem będzie wprowadzenie na rynek nowego rodzaju profili geotechnicznych, zwłaszcza grodzic. Istotą nowej technologii jest innowacyjne połączenie PVC i włókna szklanego przy zastosowaniu matrycy termoplastycznej, które zapewni grodzicom PVC znacznie wyższe parametry techniczne i szersze pole dla zastosowań. Planowana do wdrożenia przez firmę S. i A. Pietrucha innowacyjna technologia umożliwi tworzenie profili geotechnicznych o parametrach dotychczas możliwych do uzyskania wyłącznie w oparciu o zupełnie inną i stosowaną od wielu lat technologię produkcji ze stali. Stworzy również możliwości dla dalszych prac badawczo-rozwojowych zmierzających do zwiększania wytrzymałości PVC bez utraty jego zalet (głównie wagi, ceny) oraz rozszerzania obszarów jego zastosowania. Głównymi odbiorcami rezultatu projektu będą podmioty działające w branży geoinżynierii i inżynierii wodnej zajmujące się m.in. regulacją brzegów rzek, zabezpieczeniem brzegów, budową cieków wodnych, wałów przeciwpowodziowych, osuszaniem, budową innego rodzaju zabezpieczeń przed filtracją zanieczyszczeń lub osuwaniem się ziemi. Zarówno na europejskim jak i światowym rynku nie ma produktu, który łączyłby w sobie zalety grodzic PVC (przede wszystkim cena, niska waga, wysoka odporność na rdzę, działanie substancji chemicznych i biodegradację) oraz stalowych (parametry techniczne). Wdrażana technologia odpowiada na potrzeby zarówno ekonomiczne jak i środowiskowe i społeczne, przed którymi stoi Polska i Europa wnosząc znaczną poprawę parametrów technicznych produktu przy zachowaniu relatywnie niskiego poziomu ceny zakupu oraz kosztów transportu i montażu, a także wysoką dbałość o środowisko naturalne."
