Celem projektu jest utworzenie Centrum B+R, w którym będą opracowywane innowacje dla przemysłu w zakresie efektywnej separacji metali ze strumieni odpadowych oraz kopalin. Rozbudowa potencjału B+R doprowadzi do podniesienia innowacyjności i konkurencyjności oferty firmy. Efektem realizacji Agendy badawczej będzie innowacja produktowa w formie reaktora magneto-chemicznego zapewniającego wysokiej jakości odzysk drobin metalicznych z mieszanin przemysłowych. Reaktor będzie projektowany i wdrażany w systemie "pod klucz" pod konkretną aplikację przemysłową. Potencjalne korzyści dla przemysłu z wdrożenia rozwiązań projektowych to, m.in.: - odzysk cennych ekonomicznie koncentratów metali, np. z grupy surowców krytycznych, - efektywne i niskoodpadowe usuwanie metali ciężkich ze ścieków i redukcja opłat środowiskowych za przekroczenia dozwolonych limitów stężeń, - regeneracja cieczy przemysłowych, w tym chłodziw, umożliwiająca wtórne ich zastosowanie i budowanie zamkniętych obiegów materiałowych.
