The theme of the project is the development of R & D for the development of an innovative national/European technology for co-hydrogenation of vegetable oils and/or animal fats as a potential source of biocomponents for diesel fuel (co-processing).At present, technology has reached the third level of technology readiness.Initial concepts and conclusions were drawn from the state of the art.In addition, separate elements of the technology are known and are analytically verified.The concept of the planned R & D project arose during the analysis of the current legislation in force, which makes PKN ORLEN mandatory for increasing the amount of biocomponents in diesel and other types of fuel sold.Finally, once the technological readiness level has been reached, the project will enable PKN ORLEN to implement full scale production of diesel with a biocomponent content which can help achieve the required NIT.The project will be carried out in three stages, one of which is industrial research, and two are experimental development.The project will lead to the development of a process innovation & ll;innovative production technology on a national/European scale.The new technology will be significantly improved compared to existing solutions.The implementation of the process innovation generated by the project will take place in the main refinery plant of PKN ORLEN in Płock, Poland, where the existing production unit will be adapted to the co-processing technology in line with the project results.Diesel containing biohydrocarbons obtained by co-processing will be offered mainly on the domestic market, both wholesale and retail.Applicant (English) | |||

Tematem projektu jest przeprowadzenie prac B+R dotyczących opracowania innowacyjnej w skali kraju/europejskiej technologii współuwodornienia frakcji napędowych olejami roślinnymi lub tłuszczami zwierzęcymi, jako potencjalnego źródła biokomponentów dla oleju napędowego (co-processing). Obecnie technologia osiągnęła trzeci poziom gotowości technologicznej. Wstępne koncepcje i wnioski zostały sformułowane w wyniku przeprowadzonych badań stanu techniki. Ponadto, znane są oddzielne elementy technologii i zostały one analitycznie zweryfikowane. Koncepcja planowanego projektu B+R pojawiła się podczas analizy obecnie obowiązujących nadchodzących przepisów prawa, które sprawiają, że PKN ORLEN będzie zobligowany do stosowania coraz większej ilości biokomponentów w oleju napędowym i innych typach sprzedawanych paliw. Na końcu, po osiągnięciu IX poziomu gotowości technologicznej, projekt umożliwi PKN ORLEN wdrożenie pełnoskalowej produkcji oleju napędowego z zawartością biokomponentów, co może pomóc osiągnąć wymagany Narodowy Cel Wskaźnikowy. Projekt będzie przeprowadzony w trzech etapach, z których jeden to badania przemysłowe, a dwa to eksperymentalne prace rozwojowe. Projekt doprowadzi do opracowania innowacji procesowej – technologii produkcyjnej innowacyjnej w skali kraju/europejskiej. Nowa technologia będzie znacząco udoskonalona w stosunku do istniejących rozwiązań. Wdrożenie innowacji procesowej opracowanej w ramach projektu nastąpi w głównym zakładzie rafineryjnym PKN ORLEN w Płocku, w Polsce, gdzie istniejąca jednostka produkcyjna będzie dostosowana do technologii co-processingu zgodnie z wynikami projektu. Olej napędowy zawierający biowęglowodory otrzymane w wyniku co-processingu będzie oferowany głównie na rynku krajowym, zarówno hurtowym jak i detalicznym. Wnioskodawca wykorzy (Polish)
