Przedmiotem projektu jest przeprowadzenie przez TERMET prac B+R, których realizacja umożliwi opracowanie innowacji produktowej w skali kraju- - gamy innowacyjnych kotłów kondensacyjnych o szerokim zakresie modulacji, wyposażone w nowoczesny system sterowania i monitoringu, które będą charakteryzowały się m.in.:-obniżoną mocą min., a w konsekwencji szerszym niż oferowany na rynku zakresem modulacji, -większą niż w dotychczasowych rozwiązaniach sprawnością wykorzystania energii paliwa w układzie wytwarzania energii cieplnej w odniesieniu do jego wartości opałowej,-obniżonym poziomem mocy akustycznej.Drugim rezultatem projektu, jednocześnie elementem konstrukcyjnym pieców będzie autorski model numeryczny zwężki Venturiego z tłumikiem szumów.Realizacja projektu przyczyni się do osiągnięcia celu- wzrostu konkurencyjności Spółki na rynku krajowym oraz UE i zapewni intensyfikację działalności B+R firmy. Cel ten zostanie osiągnięty przez przeprowadzenie kolejnych etapów badań i realizację celów szczeg., jak: zwiększenie potencjału B+R poprzez zatrudnienie dodatkowych pracowników na stanowiskach badawczych i nawiązanie współpracy z jednostką naukową, jako podwykonawcą.
