The project involves research and development (R & D) on the development of two floor pads with enhanced characteristics, strength, and fungicides as well as the development of technological process parameters allowing for their repetitive manufacturing. At present, technology is at TRL level and is not being offered commercially. The project aims to be ready for the deployment and demonstration of products under real conditions. The solution is part of the dynamically developing material engineering and construction industry. The objectives will be achieved by ensuring, inter alia:— equipment for the laboratory, — staff and management experienced in R & D — support of scientific bodies as subcontractors, — cooperation of potential recipients of project results, — necessary financial means. The solution developed will be implemented in the form of product innovation mainly targeting European markets. The recipients of the new sleepers will be mainly the commercial segment customers. The implementation of innovation should lead to the applicant’s position on the national market and the European market for premium floor sleepers. In addition, the project provides for the protection of intellectual property by carrying out at least two patent applications, as well as ensuring a diffusion effect through collaboration with the scientific bodies.Reference_reference_programme_aids:SA.41471 (2015/X) _public:Article 25 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in the application of Article 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ(OJ LEU L 187/1, 26.06.2014). Cele zostaną osiągnięte poprzez zapewnienie m.in.: - wyposażenia laboratorium, - kadry merytorycznej i zarządzającej doświadczonej w B+R, - wsparcia jednostek naukowych jako podwykonawców, - współpracy potencjalnych odbiorców rezultatów projektu, - niezbędnych środków finansowych. Ponadto, projekt przewiduje ochronę własności intelektualnej poprzez dokonanie przynajmniej dwóch zgłoszeń patentowych, a także zapewnienie zaistnienia efektu dyfuzji poprzez współpracę z jednostkami naukowymi.
