Over the years, Plantpol and the ornamental plants sector have been faced with an accumulation of production during certain periods of the year, making it very clear that the desire to increase the volume of production is linked to the need to incur high investment costs in the construction of further areas of the greenhouse and also to increase the expensive cultivation of contractual crops on female candidates in hot air countries. The solution to this problem could be to develop technologies to control and, as a matter of course, extend the growing season of seedlings with a view to preparing more finished products for the period of the largest market demand so as to improve the economic efficiency of the production and the efficiency of the use of the mother of the plants. The project involves a number of experiments leading to the development of a technology for the storage of seedlings within a much longer time span than was possible. Two actions are envisaged:— the development of an innovative demonstration of the experimental greenhouse that will be equipped with a range of innovative climate solutions — development of the preservation of unrooted cuttings, after being planted under controlled climatic and lighting conditions. Thanks to the solutions developed, the applicant will be able to exercise informed control over the plant root period, depending on the current market demand. The economic effects will be the maximum use of the mother’s manufacturing potential, a reduction in production costs, and a reduction in the seasonality of production. PLANTPOL - PRODUKCJA I HODOWLA ROŚLIN OZDOBNYCH W ZABORZU SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ
0 references
W ramach projektu zaplanowano szereg eksperymentów prowadzących do opracowania technologii przechowania sadzonek w okresie znacznie dłuższym niż było to możliwe dotychczas. (Polish)
