Digital injection technology has allowed in recent years to improve the quality of aesthetic finish ceramic tiles. Thus, with the improvement of both the level of definition and control of inkjet application, the translation of the color component graphic design on the tile has reached considerably high levels. However, this technology has focused solely on decoration pieces, obviating other features are differentiators of the ceramic pieces, such as impermeability, brightness, color, surface texture, chemical and mechanical resistance, etc. In this context, UNDEFASA S.A. (Hereinafter UNDEFASA), it has decided to undertake this project with the main objective to develop new ceramic tiles obtained from new ceramic materials to provide ceramic effects of gloss, gloss, matt and metallic, for use by systems digital injection ink-jet. By developing these new tile product range will be expanded, achieving new effects and surface finishes other than those existing at present. Also by developi (English)
