El objetivo de la operación es el desarrollo del PLAN DE MOVILIDAD URBANA SOSTENIBLE_x000D_ DE ALMERÍA para el fomento de los desplazamientos a pie en el núcleo urbano, especialmente como modalidad preferente para los recorridos cortos; así como aumentar la calidad urbana y la habitabilidad del entorno, y de forma específica en la zona más central de la ciudad._x000D_ Todo ello encaminado a conseguir:_x000D_ - Mejorar la calidad urbana en las áreas más centrales_x000D_ - Mejorar la accesibilidad interna a la ciudad_x000D_ Para conseguir estos objetivos se plantea como Propuesta 1 la ampliación progresiva del_x000D_ espacio peatonal en el Centro Histórico, con tres tipos de intervenciones a corto, medio y largo plazo._x000D_ Esta operación desarrolla las exigencias que determina el PMUS de Almería para_x000D_ intervenciones a medio plazo (Spanish)

The objective of the operation is the development of the SUSTAINIBLE URBAN MOVILITY PLAN_x000D_ DE ALMERÍA for the promotion of walking trips in the urban centre, especially as a preferred modality for short trips; as well as increasing the urban quality and habitability of the environment, and specifically in the most central area of the city._x000D_ All this aimed at achieving:_x000D_ — Improving urban quality in the most central areas_x000D_ — Improving internal accessibility to the city_x000D_ To achieve these objectives, the progressive expansion of the_x000D_ pedestrian space in the Historic Centre is proposed as Proposal 1, with three types of interventions in the short, medium and long term._x000D_ This operation develops the requirements determined by the SUMP of Almería for_x000D_ medium term interventions (English)
