Esta propuesta pretende reforzar la línea de Investigación Oceanográfica Interdisciplinar existente en el Instituto Universitario de Investigación Marina de la Universidad de Cádiz (INMAR). Esta actividad interdisciplinar se inició con la colaboración entre el Grupo de Oceanografía Física y el grupo de Estructura y Dinámica de los Ecosistemas Acuáticos, desarrollando una serie de proyectos con los que se pretende comprender como se acopla la respuesta biológica a las condiciones hidrodinámicas del ambiente marino. En los últimos años esta actividad interdisciplinar, se ha extendido hacia la integración de otras disciplinas como la Oceanografía Química y Geológica. Para mantener esta línea de investigación interdisciplinar, es necesario adquirir instrumentación oceanográfica que permita seguir la obtención de series temporales del máximo número de variables oceanográficas en fondeos para ayudar a entender cómo se conectan los diferentes procesos biogeoquímicos en los ecosistemas marinos a diferentes escalas temporales. Por otra parte, estos registros temporales deben ser complementados con equipamiento específico utilizado desde las embarcaciones y que permita obtener información sobre la variabilidad espacial de las variables de interés. En la presente propuesta se solicita el equipamiento necesario para mantener esta actividad investigadora interdisciplinar. (Spanish)

The present proposal tries to reinforce the interdisciplinary Oceanographic Research existing in the Institute of Marine Research of the University of Cádiz (INMAR). This interdisciplinary activity began with the collaboration between Physical Oceanography group and Structure and Dynamics of the Aquatic Ecosystems group, developing a series of projects to try understand the biological response to the hydrodynamic conditions of the marine environment. In the last years, this interdisciplinary activity has spread towards the integration of other disciplines as the Chemical and Geological Oceanography. To support this interdisciplinary research line, it is necessary to acquire oceanographic instrumentation that allows to continue obtaining temporal series of the maximum number of oceanographic observations. The mooring instruments help to understand how the different biogeochemical processes are connected in the aquatic ecosystems at different time scales. On the other hand, these temporary records must be complemented with specific equipment used from the crafts which allows to know the spatial variability of the more interesting data. In the present proposal, the necessary equipment is requested to support this interdisciplinary research. (English)
