La finalidad de esta propuesta es solicitar equipamiento para fortalecer la infraestructura científica y tecnológica de los laboratorios de especialización del Centro de Estudios Avanzados en Olivar y Aceites de Oliva (CEA Olivar) de la Universidad de Jaén, dotándolo de una plena capacidad investigadora y desarrollo tecnológico. Las instalaciones del CEA Olivar están ubicadas en dos sedes: Parque Científico Tecnológico de la provincia de Jaén (GEOLIT) y Campus de Lás Lagunillas de la Universidad de Jaén. El CEA Olivar cuenta así con unas instalaciones ubicadas en un entorno empresarial en el que se encuentran las Unidades que desarrollan líneas de investigación relacionadas con el proceso productivo y comercialización (Unidad de Ingeniería de Procesos, Unidad de Robótica y Automatización y Unidad de Marketing y Economía) con unas características y necesidades en infraestructuras determinadas; y por otro lado, los laboratorios ubicados en el Campus Las Lagunillas, en los que trabajan el resto de Unidades más experimentales que comparten sus instalaciones y recursos así como otras infraestructuras disponibles en la Universidad de Jaén. En este sentido, la Universidad de Jaén ha asignado a este Centro unos nuevos espacios, actualmente en fase de construcción, con el objeto de potenciar y mejorar el trabajo de estos grupos en su sede del Campus. Este proyecto pretende dotar estos espacios del equipamiento científico-técnico necesario para impulsar su desarrollo. (Spanish)

The aim of this proposal is to request equipment to strengthen the scientific and technological infrastructure of the specialized laboratories of the 'Center for Advanced Studies in Olive Oil and Olives' ('CEA Olivar') of the University of Jaén, providing it with full research capacity and technological development. The 'CEA Olivar' facilities are located and distributed in two environments: Geolit Science and Technology Park of the province of Jaén and 'Campus Las Lagunillas of the University of Jaén. The 'CEA Olivar' has thus facilities located in a business environment in which are the Units that develop research lines related to the production process and marketing ('Process Engineering Unit', 'Robotics and Automation Unit' and 'Marketing and Economics Unit') with certain characteristics and needs in infrastructures; and on the other hand, the laboratories located in the Campus Las Lagunillas, in which the rest of the more experimental Units share their facilities and resources as well as other infrastructures available in the University of Jaén work. In this sense, the University of Jaén has assigned this Center new spaces ( currently, under construction and conditioning) in order to enhance and improve the work of these groups at its headquarters on the Campus. This project aims to provide these spaces with the necessary scientific-technological equipment to boost their international and thus strengthen the scientific and technical capabilities of their research units.
