Mestna občina Kranj namerava sanirati degradirano območje z oživitvijo opuščenega objekta nekdanje srednje ekonomske šole, s programsko ustreznimi centralnimi dejavnostmi. Območje je na podlagi Meril in kriterijev za določitev degradiranih urbanih območij (DUO 2) Fakultete za arhitekturo UL, degradirano v smislu socialne degradacije. Cilji v okviru projekta so celovita prenova vzhodnega opuščenega krila objekta na Komenski ulici 4, prenova fasade na zahodnem krilu objekta na Komenski ulici 2 ter ureditev zunanji površin. V okviru projekta bo odpravljena socialna degradacija. (Slovenian)

The municipality of Kranj intends to rehabilitate the degraded area by revitalising the abandoned building of the former secondary economic school, with programmed central activities. The site is degraded in terms of social degradation on the basis of the criteria and criteria for determining degraded urban areas (DUO 2) of the Faculty of Architecture of the UL. The objectives of the project are the comprehensive renovation of the eastern abandoned wing of the building on Komenjska ulica 4, the refurbishment of the façade on the western wing of the building on Komenjska ulica 2 and the arrangement of the external surfaces. Social degradation will be eliminated as part of the project. (English)
