Os equipamentos são imprescindíveis para melhorar a qualidade de diagnóstico e tratamento no CHLN e na região com uma resposta atempada e mais eficaz às necessidades atuais e emergentes da população, que exigem uma atuação diferenciada nas áreas de oncologia, cardiologia e medicina intensiva. Permitem ultrapassar fragilidades com resposta terapêutica integrada, com redução dos tempos de espera, diagnósticos mais precoces e seguros para o doente. (Portuguese)

The equipment is essential to improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment in the CHLN and in the region with a timely and more effective response to the current and emerging needs of the population, which require a differentiated action in the areas of oncology, cardiology and intensive medicine. They allow overcoming weaknesses with integrated therapeutic response, with reduced waiting times, earlier and safer diagnoses for the patient. (English)
