The project is characterised by the implementation, in the Tunes-Lagos and Faro-VRSt António sections, of a catenary (1x25 kV) and by the adaptation of the systems and installations of the Tunes-Faro section, already electrified. It also considers the extension of a substation, the construction of a new one including the power supply to the public network and the complementary construction work, and the adaptation and installation of electronic signalling and telecommunications systems.
