Namen omenjene operacije je ureditev pripadajoče prometne, vodne in energetske infrastrukture, in sicer zaradi dodatnih potreb lokalnih podjetnikov po namenskih površinah za proizvodno dejavnost. Glavni cilj operacije bo ustvarjanje novih delovnih mest, zagotavljanje višje dodane vrednosti MSP ter omogočanje rasti in razvoja poslovanja, kar bo omogočilo razvoj gospodarskih dejavnosti na regionalni in državni ravni, hkrati pa se bodo izboljšali tudi pogoji za življenje in zaposlovanje na območju občine, Obsotelja in Kozjanskega ter Savinjske regije.
