El Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Castellón dispone del suelo necesario para la urbanización del vial en prolongación de la calle Jesús Martí Martín y de este modo poder conectar con el viario previsto en el planeamiento vigente de la zona residencial del entorno de la Universidad con la Avenida de Alcora. Esta conexión se realiza mediante la construcción de una nueva obra de paso sobre el cauce del río Seco. Dada la luz a cubrir (41,5 metros) y la localización del puente en una alineación recta, se opta por una estructura sencilla y de rápida ejecución que minimice la afección al cauce y a los vecinos de la zona. Por ello, se opta por un tablero conformado por tres vigas artesas pretensadas, prefabricadas, que apoyarán sobre los estribos laterales, sin apoyos intermedios. Sobre dichas vigas se ejecutará una losa de hormigón armado de 25 cm de canto. (Spanish)

The Castellón City Council has the necessary ground for the urbanisation of the road in prolongation of the street Jesús Martí Martín and thus be able to connect with the road planned in the current planning of the residential area of the environment of the University with the Avenida de Alcora. This connection is made by the construction of a new work of passage on the channel of the river Seco. Given the light to cover (41.5 meters) and the location of the bridge in a straight alignment, a simple and fast-executing structure is chosen that minimises the condition to the channel and neighbors of the area. For this reason, we opt for a panel consisting of three prestressed, prefabricated artisan beams, which will support on the side stirrups, without intermediate supports. A reinforced concrete slab of 25 cm of edge shall be executed on these beams. (English)
