El tratamiento y objetivo a seguir con la presente actuación, conlleva la reordenación de las secciones de viales existentes y espacios en desuso para la incorporación de itinerarios ciclistas integrados con los itinerarios peatonales. En la actualidad, los espacios de actuación, se encuentran ocupados por el estacionamiento de vehículos privados, o bien estaban adscritos a otros usos no compatibles con el uso ciclista, con lo cual no existe carril ciclista en la zona, imposibilitando la conexión de los carriles bici existentes en la zona Sur de la ciudad con el centro urbano y la zona Norte._x000D_ _x000D_ Se creará una red ciclista interconectada , que permita la conexión de los carriles bici existentes en la ciudad en su zona sur y playas con la zona norte en Avda. Felipe IV, a través de los viales en los que se desarrolla la actuación. Los espacios peatonales en la Plaza de las Boyas, Plaza del Astillero, Plaza de Galdames, Plza. Jesús Villanueva serán compartidos en algunos casos con los espacios peatonales sobre plataforma única, compatibilizando los usos con los nuevos itinerarios peatonales accesibles. Todo ello, permitirán la continuidad ciclista en el borde fluvial urbano, en los principales viales que conforma dicho borde, delimitado por la Avda Muelle de Portugal, Muelle Norte, Calle Castro Marín, Calle Trasera de San Francisco, Calle de las Flores y Plaza Jesús Villanueva._x000D_ _x000D_ Estas nuevas actuaciones, se integrarán en el borde Oeste y se complementarán con la Reducción de las secciones de los viales de tráfico rodado para la incorporación de carril- bici de doble sentido con una anchura mínima de 2,25 m, que permiten además crear una nueva conexión ciclista Norte- Sur y favorecer la conexión con las calles colindantes y aledañas, como Paseo de San Francisco, Calle Capilla del Monte, Calle de las Flores y Calle Galdames (Para mayor información y debido al límite de caracteres, se recomienda complementar esta información con la contenida en la Expresión de Interés) (Spanish)
