The EUREKA project "Healthy PRODUCTS WITH HARINA DE lablab PURPUREU. NUTRIBEAN’. It aims to develop a new food product portfolio using the lablab purpureus legume, studying its rheological properties with the aim of a flour with higher nutritional value. This project consists of Spanish and Portuguese entities, the participation of the Spanish company FOVEXSAT is described in this report._x000D_ The general objective pursued by this project within the activities carried out by FOVEXSAT is to adapt the leguminous lablab purpureus under the edaphoclimatic conditions of the southwest Europe, as a profitable crop for use in animal feed, through silage using an initiator crop designed for this purpose._x000D_ Once the agronomic techniques that allow the development of the crop are known, FOVEXSAT will be able to cultivate the same process. Thus, FOVEXSAT will achieve a differentiation and quality bonus in the market, being pioneers in incorporating a new element in the diet of ruminants as a food alternative. El proyecto EUREKA “PRODUCTOS SALUDABLES CON HARINA DE LABLAB PURPUREU. NUTRIBEAN”. Apunta al desarrollo de una nueva cartera de productos alimenticios utilizando la legumbre Lablab purpureus, estudiando sus propiedades reológicas con el objetivo de una harina con mayor valor nutricional. Este proyecto está conformado por entidades españolas y portuguesas, siendo descrita en esta memoria la participación de la empresa española FOVEXSAT._x000D_ El objetivo general que persigue este proyecto dentro de las actividades desarrolladas por FOVEXSAT es la adaptación de la leguminosa Lablab purpureus bajo las condiciones edafoclimáticas del suroeste europeo, como un cultivo rentable para su aprovechamiento en alimentación animal, a través del ensilado utilizando un cultivo iniciador diseñado para tal fin._x000D_ Una vez conocidas las técnicas agronómicas que permiten el desarrollo del cultivo, FOVEXSAT podrá cultivar L.purpureus, incorporándolo a la gama de cultivos forrajeros con los que elabora ensilados, mejorando la calidad de los mismos y del proceso de ensilado, gracias al cultivo iniciador, mejorando con todo ello la alimentación de sus corderos. Así, FOVEXSAT logrará una diferenciación y plus de calidad en el mercado, al ser pioneros en incorporar un nuevo elemento en la dieta de los rumiantes como alternativa alimentaria. (Spanish)
