In the present action, assistance is requested for the acquisition of the scientific equipment necessary to complete a new Laboratory for Processing Materials and Development of Molecular Devices of the Institute of Molecular Science (ICMOL), which is located in the facilities of the Scientific Park of the University of Valencia. _x000D_ this laboratory integrates in a space of 200 m² all the necessary equipment to cover the stages of material processing (in particular molecular materials and 2D materials) and the development and manufacture of devices and prototypes based on these materials. The construction of this laboratory began in 2015 with the aim of equipping ICMOL with the necessary infrastructures to develop a research of excellence in the three strategic lines proposed by the institute: 1) Research in 2D materials; 2) Molecular spynthronic; 3) Manufacture of Molecular Electronic Devices. These three strategic lines are precisely those proposed by ICMOL to be developed over the next 4 years within the framework of the recently granted Unit of Excellence Maria de Maeztu. The proposed action will therefore contribute decisively to the development of the strategic plan of the María de Maeztu Unit. (English) | |||||||||||||||

En la presente actuación se solicita ayuda para la adquisición del equipamiento científico necesario para completar un nuevo Laboratorio de Procesado de Materiales y Desarrollo de Dispositivos Moleculares del Instituto de Ciencia Molecular (ICMol), que se encuentra ubicado en las instalaciones del Parque Científico de la Universidad de Valencia. _x000D_ Este laboratorio integra en un espacio de 200 m2 todos los equipamientos necesarios para cubrir las etapas de procesado de materiales (en particular materiales moleculares y materiales 2D) y de desarrollo y fabricación de dispositivos y prototipos basados en estos materiales. La construcción de dicho laboratorio se inició en el año 2015 con la finalidad de dotar al ICMol con las infraestructuras necesarias para desarrollar una investigación de excelencia en las tres líneas estratégicas propuestas por el instituto: 1) Investigación en materiales 2D; 2) Espintrónica Molecular; 3) Fabricación de dispositivos electrónicos Moleculares. Estas tres líneas estratégicas son precisamente las propuestas por el ICMol para ser desarrolladas durante los próximos 4 años en el marco de la Unidad de Excelencia María de Maeztu que nos ha sido recientemente concedida. Por lo tanto, la actuación propuesta va a contribuir de forma decidida al desarrollo del plan estratégico de la Unidad María de Maeztu. (Spanish)
