Its turnover is about 2.7 MEUR._x000D_ In this project, the company aims to develop a new process of finishing sustainable, waterproof sanitary fabrics for the manufacture of hospital gowns, that comply with the regulations and the highest specifications and, in addition, allow their reuse at least 65 times, after undergoing hospital washes. All this based on fabrics that can be manufactured in Spain and with high performance finishes also carried out in our country._x000D_ Currently, waterproof fabrics for gowns in the health sector are considered for single use and are manufactured in Asia, in direct extrusion processes (spunbonded), resulting in trilayer laminates of limited comfort. They are, on the other hand, fabrics in which, at present, the difficulty of supply is extreme, so the growing demand for them is not met. The proposal of TEXTIL VALOR starts from a very light lining fabric, which will undergo a highly controlled process of resin deposition for the waterproofing of the fabric. In the very short term the aim is to achieve a finished fabric that complies with the sanitary regulations of waterproofing and that supports more than 15 washes at 60 °C (within a development period of less than 2 months). At the end of the project the aim is to achieve a finished fabric that complies with the sanitary regulations of waterproofing and that supports more than 65 washes at 60 ° (English) | |||||||||||||||
