Spectrum (Secure Platform for Emergency Communications based on digital trunking and Machine/deep learning) is an industrial research and experimental development project led by GRS (Global Radio Systems S.L), a company with a long history in the field of professional telecommunications; and supported by the International Institute for Research in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science (AIR Institute), with a high level of scientific and technological excellence. _x000D_ the overall objective is to obtain a new intelligent voice radio communications platform, oriented to law enforcement and emergency. This system would differ from current technologies (Tetra networks and SIRDEE) in that it will take advantage of the existing aerial data communication infrastructure (GSM/3G/4G and 5G) to transmit information by voice. This has a threefold advantage: first, there will be no need for initial investment or infrastructure maintenance, which means cost reduction for the end-user; second, greater reliability, coverage and security of communications is achieved; and third, the project will incorporate intelligent mechanisms for the dynamic and automatic selection of the optimal data network by the communication device (both the provider and service technology, GPRS, UMTS, LTE, the emerging 5G, allowing to establish communication channels with different quality of service (QoS) and optimising in each circuit/voice/data channel and globally the flow of communications.     SPECTRUM (Secure Platform for Emergency Communications based on digital TRUnking and Machine/deep learning) es un proyecto de Investigación Industrial y Desarrollo experimental liderado por GRS (Global Radio Systems S.L), empresa con una larga trayectoria en el campo de las telecomunicaciones profesionales; y apoyado por la Fundación Instituto Internacional de Investigación en Inteligencia Artificial y Ciencias de la Computación (AIR Institute), con un elevado nivel de excelencia científica y tecnológica. _x000D_ El objetivo general es obtener una novedosa plataforma inteligente de radiocomunicaciones por voz, orientado a cuerpos de seguridad y emergencia. Este sistema se diferenciaría de las tecnologías actuales (redes Tetra y Sirdee) en que aprovechará la infraestructura existente de comunicación de datos aérea (GSM/3G/4G y 5G) para transmitir información por voz. Ello presenta una triple ventaja: en primer lugar, no será necesaria una inversión inicial ni el mantenimiento de infraestructuras, lo que supone una reducción de costes para el usuario final; en segunda lugar, se consigue una mayor fiabilidad, cobertura y seguridad de las comunicaciones; y, en tercer lugar, el proyecto incorporará mecanismos inteligentes para la selección dinámica y automática de la red de datos óptima por parte del dispositivo de comunicación (tanto el proveedor como la tecnología de servicio, GPRS, UMTS, LTE, el incipiente 5G, permitiendo establecer canales de comunicación con diferentes calidades de servicio (QoS) y optimizando en cada circuito/canal de voz/datos y de forma global el flujo de las comunicaciones.
