    El proyecto se plantea establecer un nuevo concepto comercial: SMARTFOODS, alimentos y suplementos nutricionales inteligentes, útiles para alimentación humana y animal, que supere el concepto de alimento funcional y permita establecer a las compañías implicadas en el proyecto nuevas estrategias biotecnológicas y comerciales._x000D_ Para ello en el proyecto se desarrollaran alimentos y suplementos nutricionales inteligentes, originales, innovadores y optimizados para potenciar la resilencia, que ayuden a la población a mejorar su salud, su bienestar y su longevidad y que permitan mejorar la calidad de vida de toda aquella población que, por distintas causas (hábitos dietéticos, estilo de vida, factores sociales, edad, etc.), padece riesgo de desarrollar patologías multifactoriales. Este desarrollo permitirá incidir en el sistema de sanidad pública, contribuyendo a la calidad de vida y a la reducción de los costes de tratamiento de patologías multifactoriales mediante el concepto de SMARTFOODS que es eficiente en el global de la patología y válido en el estado de prevención de la misma. _x000D_ La capacidad de los organismos de mantener la homeostasis se conoce como resiliencia. Potenciar la capacidad de resiliencia, base estratégica del proyecto, es una manera efectiva e innovadora de prevenir el inicio de patologías o situaciones multifactoriales._x000D_ La aproximación del proyecto SMARTFOODS se basa en añadir al consumo de una dieta equilibrada y suficiente y a la práctica de ejercicio, aquellos ingredientes que permitan potenciar la capacidad de resiliencia en las distintas situaciones en que el equilibrio homeostático puede estar comprometido. Esta aproximación comporta una innovación importante, ya que se trata de combinar en un mismo alimento un conjunto de ingredientes bioactivos que actúen simultáneamente sobre distintas dianas implicadas en el mantenimiento de la homeostasis en función de la situación vital y del genotipo del individuo.     The project aims to establish a new commercial concept: Smartfoods, intelligent food and nutritional supplements, useful for human and animal feed, that goes beyond the concept of functional food and allows the companies involved in the project to establish new biotechnological and commercial strategies._x000D_ To do this, the project will develop intelligent, original, innovative and optimised foods and nutritional supplements to enhance resilience, help the population improve their health, well-being and longevity and that improve the quality of life of all the population that, due to different causes (dietary habits, lifestyle, social factors, age, etc.), suffers from the risk of developing multifactorial pathologies. This development will make it possible to influence the public health system, contributing to the quality of life and the reduction of the costs of treatment of multifactorial pathologies through the concept of Smartfoods that is efficient in the overall pathology and valid in the state of prevention of it. _x000D_ the ability of agencies to maintain homeostasis is known as resilience. Enhancing resilience capacity, strategic basis of the project, is an effective and innovative way to prevent the onset of pathologies or multifactorial situations._x000D_ The Smartfoods project approach is based on adding to the consumption of a balanced and sufficient diet and exercise practice, those ingredients that allow to enhance resilience in the different situations in which homeostatic balance can be compromised. This approach entails an important innovation, since it is a matter of combining in the same food a set of bioactive ingredients that act simultaneously on different targets involved in the maintenance of homeostasis according to the life situation and genotype of the individual.
