    La base fundamental del proyecto, es encontrar soluciones y/o alternativas a los problemas ocasionados por lo nematodos en cultivos hortícolas sin afectar a estos mismos. Los procesos de fermentación son una alternativa para la producción de nuevas sustancias, las cuales pueden ser inducidas por el mismo agente patógeno en condiciones controladas._x000D_ El desarrollo de nuevos productos en base a extractos de origen vegetal y fermentados con actividad nematicida permitirá abrir un mercado nuevo para nuestra empresa y dotar al mercado hortícola de nuevas herramientas de lucha frente al control de nematodos fitoparásitos y alternativas al empleo de fitosanitarios de origen químico, estando en plena consonancia con las directrices en materia de seguridad agroalimentaria impuestas por las autoridades europeas (directiva de 2009 ,2009/128/EC) y estatales (según el Real Decreto 951/2014)._x000D_ El conjunto de hitos planteados en el proyecto generan un marco de actuación multidisciplinar en el cual se ejecutarán actividades y tareas que implican el desarrollo y aplicación de técnicas avanzadas de biología molecular, técnicas de química analítica, procesos de fermentación, actividades de fisiología vegetal, el uso de la tecnología de cultivo in vitro de células vegetales y actividades agronómicas para el estudio de la efectividad del producto formulado en condiciones reales de producción hortícola, proceso final que nos permitirá valorar económicamente la producción a escala industrial y el registro del mismo._x000D_ Se proponen 4 objetivos específicos donde se plantean las actividades y tareas a realizar:_x000D_ Obj. 1: Aislamiento y producción de nematodos._x000D_ Obj. 2: Caracterización y cuantificación de los compuesto principales de los extractos vegetales y fermentados fúngicos._x000D_ Obj. 3: Estudio y evaluación del modo de acción de los extractos vegetales y fermentados fúngicos frente a nematodos._x000D_ Obj. 4: Ensayos de eficacia de productos formulados en cámara de cultivo e invernadero.
