The CONTAMINATION IS PERJUDICIAL FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND FORESTMENT IN EUROPE AND THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE CLIMATIC CHANGE WITH DID, INUNDATIONS AND FORESTAL INCENDMENTS._x000D_ this PROJECT RESPONSES NEEDS OF SOCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL RETES RELATED TO THE CLIMATE ACTION, the ENVIRONMENT, EFICIENCE OF PRIMAS RESOURCES AND MATERIAS", by means of the development of a new management of the availability of gas sensors based in MICRO/NANOTECHNOLOGY that they will contribute, in contrast to the technology of the detection of existing people, to the MITIGATION AND ADAPTATION OF IMPLEMENTATION OF INVESTIVE EFFECT GASES PRODUCED by AUTOMOCATION. MITIGATION, BECAUSE THE TECHNOLOGIES PROPOSED IN THIS PROJECT FIT THOSE REQUIRED BY THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY TO IMPROVE ENERGY MANAGEMENT AND THE EFFICIENCY OF COMBUSTION. ADAPTATION, BECAUSE THESE MINIATURISED AND LOW-CONSUMPTION TECHNOLOGIES INCREMENTARIAN THE MEASUREMENT CAPABILITIES (ALLOWING THE DEPLOYMENT OF GENERALISED AND POTENTIALLY REDUNDANT SOLUTIONS) AND/OR REDUCE THE GLOBAL COST (THANKS TO THE SCALAR FACTOR OF MICRO/NANOELECTRONIC TECHNOLOGY) TO ACHIEVE WIDER GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE WITH A LARGER NETWORK OF MEASURING STATIONS. THIS WOULD ENABLE BETTER AND MORE ACCURATE DATA TO PREDICT AIR QUALITY AND THUS IMPROVE POLICIES TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE. _x000D_ the CONCEPTS AND TECHNOLOGIES PROPOSES IN THIS PROJECT are based on the use of the TECNICAL DEPOSITO TECHNICAL IN VAPOR PASE (CVD) for the SINTESIS OF MULTIFUNCIONAL NANOSTRUCTURES (for example, not MODIFIED AND MODIFIED TO SUPERFICIAL LEVEL WITH METALS AND METAL OXIDS) AND THE FABRICATION OF MICROSISTEMS FOR THE DETECTION OF GAS THAT IS NOT REPORTED IN THE STATE OF ART. THE PRINCIPAL RESEARCHER (S. VALLEJOS) AND THE RECEIVING INSTITUTION (IMB-CNM, CSIC) HAVE A LONG JOURNEY IN THE AREA OF GAS SENSORS AND COMPLEMENTARY EXPERIENCES THAT WILL BE USEFUL FOR THE EXECUTION OF THE PROJECT. _x000D_ the results of the project have a direct impact on important social and economial areas, for example in (1) the management of the carbon (including the reduction of CO2 emissions) and all associated economic events, (2) THE REDUCTION OF THE REQUIRED COST TO INSTALL SENSORS NETWORKS that monitor VEHICULE STATE GASES and AIR QUALITY in URBAN ZONAS, (3) REDUCTION OF RESPIRATORY and Allergic DISEASES ASSOCIED WITH THE MALA QUALITY OF AIR, due to the best concerns of the sensors of things that allow measures to be carried out for a better follow-up of the quality of the air and to take corrective measures that are deemed to be opportune.
