AT A TACTICAL AND OPERATIONAL LEVEL, DISCRETE CHOICE MODELS BASED ON IVM (MACHINES OF IMPORTANT VECTORS) THAT WILL BE APPLIED TO THE ESTIMATION OF DEMAND MODELS FOR COMPETING MODES IN INTERCITY TRANSPORT ARE STUDIED.
