El objeto de esta actuación es recoger las aguas residuales generadas por las aglomeraciones urbanas que integran el Sistema Territorial de Infraestructuras de Saneamiento del Valle de La Orotava para derivarlas hacia la EDAR Comarcal del Valle de La Orotava, situada en el Puerto de la Cruz y cuya ampliación está prevista, donde el efluente recibirá el tratamiento exigido por la normativa europea vigente en materia de protección de agua D91/271/CEE y D/2006/7/CEE, antes de proceder a su vertido a través del Emisario Submarino de Punta Brava. The purpose of this action is to collect the wastewater generated by the urban agglomerations that make up the Territorial System of Sanitation Infrastructures of the La Orotava Valley to divert them to the Regional WWTP of the Valley of La Orotava, located in Puerto de la Cruz and whose Expansion is planned, where the effluent will receive the treatment required by current European regulations on water protection D91 / 271 / CEE and D / 2006/7 / CEE, before proceeding to its discharge through the Underwater Emissary of Punta Brava .
