La estrategia de Sant Boi de Llobregat para los próximos años es un modelo de ciudad basado en la sostenibilidad y la salud. La calidad del aire asociada a una movilidad progresivamente más sostenible y menos contaminante, el diseño de un espacio público más accesible y pensado en primer lugar para peatones, o la apuesta por sectores económicos vinculados a la economía verde, al turismo de proximidad o a la salud, constituye pues un elemento central de esta estrategia._x000D_ _x000D_ Una ciudad con una calidad del aire progresivamente mejor repercute tanto en la calidad de vida de residentes actuales, como en aquellas futuras personas y actividades económicas que prioricen vivir y ubicarse en emplazamientos más saludables, amables y con niveles óptimos de ruido. Por lo tanto, hay que tener dispositivos propios que permitan tener evidencias de forma permanente sobre la calidad del aire y niveles sonoros en diferentes puntos estratégicos de la ciudad. Y siendo una estrategia de ciudad, hace falta que esto sea compartido y participado con la ciudadanía._x000D_ _x000D_ Esta operación se compromete a:_x000D_ La instalación de sensores en puntos estratégicos de la ciudad para facilitar la medición, sea por el hecho de ser puntos emisores de gases contaminantes, sea por la población vulnerable que vive o pasa tiempo ahí: polígonos industriales, vías con más tráfico, escuelas y centros de salud._x000D_ La integración de estos sensores con el conjunto de sensorización instalada en los semáforos y en los edificios públicos, para una gestión integral y compartida_x000D_ Promover el diseño de aplicaciones que orienten a la ciudadanía en el uso del tipo de vehículo para la elección de los mejores itinerarios en función de la información disponible al momento sobre la calidad del aire_x000D_ La elaboración de productos de comunicación que pongan de relieve la capacidad de la ciudad de preservar y mejorar la calidad del aire, de medirla de forma colaborativa y de impulsar iniciativas que favorezcan el uso de este recurso.
