Research on the energy and chemical recovery of waste in circulating fluid bed power plants, in particular to obtain knowledge on:_x000D_ a) The technical and economic viability of the two waste recovery methods provided for in the Strategic Waste Plan of the Principality of Asturias (PERPA 2017): chemical recovery, obtaining raw materials of organic chemistry or second generation fuels, and energy recovery in combustion plants of circulating fluid bed technology, for the generation of electrical energy._x000D_ b) The possibilities of adapting the circulating fluid-bed thermal power plant located in La Pereda to replace the combustion of local coal with local alternative fuels such as residue derived fuels (RDF) /recovered solid fuels (RSF) made from non-hazardous waste of urban and/or industrial origin.
