El objetivo principal del proyecto es la investigación, validación y desarrollo de embalajes y packaging mediante nuevos materiales plásticos reciclables, biodegradables y compostables, que consiguen menor impacto ambiental y mayor competitividad. Con este nuevo producto (film), se persigue dar respuesta a 3 exigencias (reciclabilidad, biodegradabilidad y compostabilidad) con el fin de poder introducirse en los mercados nacional e internacional._x000D_ El núcleo del proyecto a desarrollar es la resina denominada BioPack, que es 100% reciclable, biodegradable y compostable, que está realizada a partir de materiales renovables que satisfacen los requisitos de la Norma Europea 13432, si bien persigue también la posibilidad de implementar el nuevo material en una linea de producción de un film BOPP de baja densidad. The main aim of the project is research, validation and development of wrappings and packaging from new recyclable, biodegradable and compostable plastics, with lower environmental impact and higher competitiveness. The new product (film) seeks to respond to 3 demands (recyclable, biodegradable and compostable) for sale on national and international markets._x000D_ The core of the project under development is the BioPack resin, which is 100% recyclable, biodegradable and compostable, and made from renewable materials that meet the requirements of the 13432 EU Standard, although the possibility of implementing the new material into the production of a low density BOPP film will also be tested.
