Los principales enclaves de la ciudad como son el Casco Histórico, el Cerro del Mirón, el Parque de El Castillo y el río Duero, se encuentran desconectados entre sí, lo que genera una sensación de desconexión urbana y una falta de interrelación espacial en el relato de la ciudad. _x000D_ A esta situación se le añade uno de los principales retos urbanos de los últimos años, y es cómo conectar los diferentes espacios de la ciudad eliminando barreras arquitectónicas que dificulten la movilidad, o cómo crear conexiones que fomenten una manera de transitar y vivir la ciudad de una manera más sostenible y humana. Entre las actuaciones que se proponen realizar en el marco de esta operación se encuentra:_x000D_ Solucionar los problemas relacionados con los espacios infrautilizados o mal aprovechados; Conectar social y urbanísticamente espacios urbanos, así como determinadas conexiones con barrios y localidades circundantes; Generar puntos de encuentro entre los ciudadanos para disfrutar de una ciudad más habitable y contar con instalaciones en donde se desarrolle una vida saludable (prácticas_x000D_ deportivas, culturales, actividades de ocio, etc.); Mejora de puntos conflictivos que impiden una articulación equilibrada (entre diferentes_x000D_ barrios) y la conversión del área central en un referente en materia de conservación de patrimonio y de la sostenibilidad medioambiental. In relation to this challenge, we find another of the unique characteristics of Soria, which is that, despite being a small city, the volume of road traffic and noise pollution levels exceed expectations, especially in the inner part of the city._x000D_ The actions that are proposed have the following objectives:_x000D_ - Solve problems related to underused or poorly used spaces._x000D_ - Connect socially and urbanistically urban spaces, as well as certain connections_x000D_ with neighborhoods and surrounding towns._x000D_ - Creation of new green areas and meeting spaces (in degraded and solar areas_x000D_ empty) with the capacity to revitalize and improve the environment._x000D_ - Beautify and condition from a physical-environmental point of view._x000D_ - Build a healthier city without health risks._x000D_ - Generate meeting points between citizens to enjoy a city more_x000D_ habitable and have facilities where a healthy life is developed (practical_x000D_ sports, cultural, leisure activities, etc.)._x000D_ - Improvement of conflictive points that prevent a balanced articulation (between different_x000D_ neighborhoods)._x000D_ -The conversion of the central area into a benchmark in terms of heritage conservation and_x000D_ of environmental sustainability.
