Obiectivul principal al proiectului INSPIRED este dezvoltarea unui nou kit de diagnostic bazat pe utilizarea alergenelor recombinate, specific pentru pacienții alergici la ambrozia, care va orienta mai bine terapia bolii, realizat cu sprijinul unei echipe internaționale, prin atragerea de specialiști din străinătate cu competență recunoscută, crescând astfel participarea României în domeniile de cercetare la standarde europene și crearea unui nucleu de competenţă ştiinţifică de înalt nivel în aplicarea tehnologiilor avansate bazate pe alergene recombinate, în cadrul Centrului de cercetare OncoGen – noua infrastructură a Spitalului Clinic Județean de Urgență ”Pius Brânzeu” Timișoara, finanțat din fonduri structurale acordate prin POS CCE 2007-2013 România. The main objective of the INSPIRED project is the development of a new diagnostic kit based on the use of recombinant allergens, specific for patients allergic to ambrosia, which will better guide disease therapy, achieved with the support of an international team, by attracting specialists from abroad with recognised competence, thus increasing Romania’s participation in research fields at European standards and creating a core of high-level scientific competence in the application of advanced technologies based on recombinant allergens, within the OncoGen Research Center – the new infrastructure of the Emergency Clinical Hospital “Pius Brânzeu” Timisoara, financed from structural funds granted through SOP CCE 2007-2013 Romania.
