Grupul tinta implicat in proiect este omogen, asigurand cresterea accesului la servicii in toate zonele tarii.

Improving the level of competence of medical professionals in the field of “Transmissible Diseases – Tuberculosis” by conducting a specific training program in patient case management with TB for 1320 professionals in the medical sector and participation of TB control specialists in exchanges of experience/exchanges of good practices in priority areas of health, to promote social inclusion, combat poverty and any form of discrimination, with the priority of increasing access to sustainable and high-quality services, including medical care. By carrying out this project at national level, with the involvement of medical professionals coming from all regions of the country, it generates a long-term positive effect on the quality of health services in the field, as follows: the quality and novelty of the training program provided contributes to increasing the level of knowledge and implicitly the way of responding to patients’ problems, especially in disadvantaged areas, where the access of the medical staff to a training adapted to the latest requirements/news in the medical world is limited. The target group involved in the project is homogeneous, ensuring increased access to services in all areas of the country. Through the coherence of the target group at national level, the project contributes to improving the cross-sectional communication between professionals who will have the same level of knowledge, as well as to multiply this knowledge through dissemination made by those trained in their professional environment. The improvement of the level of training of the higher and medium medical staff leads to a higher degree of satisfaction of patients vis-a-vis the quality of medical care, increases the number of treatable conditions in ambulatory or family medicine offices (as opposed to the current situation when the treatment in county hospitals is dominant) and avoids incorrect or late diagnosis of complex pathologies. Solving the specific needs of the target group through a national training program has the potential to ultimately lead to the improvement of the health of the population, with the increase of life expectancy at birth at levels close to those in the European Union. The project directly contributes to the achievement of thematic objective 9 of the Partnership Agreement (PA) 2014-2020, namely: “Promoting social inclusion, combating poverty and any form of discrimination”, achieved by improving the level of professional competence and increasing the technical capacity of 1320 medical professionals who grant specific medical care in the priority area of health to ensure TB control in Romania, as a result of their participation in training programs and exchange of experience and exchange of best practices. This project contributes to the achievement of the specific objective: “Improve the supply of s (English)
