Uno de los principales objetivos de la EDUSI de Adra es el desarrollo y promoción de activos culturales urbanos, en particular orientados al desarrollo del turismo, por ello se pretende realizar una ambiciosa operación que gire en torno a la rica herencia de Adra, no en vano, es considerada como la cuarta ciudad más antigua de España ya que fundada en por los fenicios en siglo VIII a.C. _x000D_ Para ello, se pretende posicionar a Adra como destino histórico y cultural y crear una imagen de marca centrada en su rica historia y marcados rasgos culturales (influencias fenicias, íberas, romanas, árabes, castellanas, tradición marinera y portuaria, etc.), por ello, y en relación con lo anterior y para potenciar esa nueva imagen de marca, se rehabilitará y pondrá en valor uno de los yacimiento arqueológico más importante de la ciudad, como es el Cerro de Montecristo, yacimiento de gran valor histórico-cultural que data de hace más de 1.800 años, la rehabilitación consistirá en:_x000D_ - Instalación de puerta de entrada y vallado perimetral de acceso desde calle Montecristo._x000D_ - Muro de piedra de fachada norte para finalización de perímetro de urbanización._x000D_ - Ejecución de muro de gaviones en lado este._x000D_ - Diseño, edición y montaje de traspantajo en medianera de lado este._x000D_ - Vallado metálico de cierre de acceso por el corte 19._x000D_ - Adecuación de toda la zona de sombreado a través de pérgolas, en acceso norte y mirador._x000D_ - Acondicionamiento mirador con mobiliario urbano adecuado._x000D_ - Ajardinamiento de todo el conjunto arqueológico de conformidad con proyecto._x000D_ - Colocación de luminarias, cableado y arquetas._x000D_ - Diseño, edición y colocación de señalética._x000D_ - Recreación virtual en 3D de elementos inmuebles ya recuperados. _x000D_ - Restauración de corte 15 y trabajos de conservación de bienes inmuebles que incluyen la protección de dicho bien._x000D_ - Sistema de vigilancia y control en la ejecución._x000D_ - Quiosco en entrada norte acceso al recinto._x000D_ - Trabajos de mejora y embellecimiento acceso norte.
