El objetivo principal de la operación es dotar de adecuadas condiciones de habitabilidad, utilización y confort a tres de los principales equipamientos municipales ubicados en el ámbito de la EDUSI León Norte, fomentando ganar en eficiencia en estos recursos preexistentes y contribuir a reducir los desequilibrios entre los barrios de la zona EDUSI y otros más céntricos de la ciudad. _x000D_ _x000D_ Se trata de mejorar la infraestructura física y de servicios en la que se pueda desarrollar un ecosistema actividades comunitarias en los barrios de la EDUSI, adecuando las condiciones de los equipamientos existentes y garantizando su uso futuro, sin desventajas respecto a otros barrios de la ciudad. _x000D_ _x000D_ Se han seleccionado como prioritarios tres equipamientos de alta intensidad de uso para los habitantes de la zona y con un fuerte arraigo social, en concreto la Residencia para personas mayores "Virgen del Camino", el Centro Cívico con Polideportivo de Ventas Oeste y el Polideportivo de San Esteban, los tres propiedad del Ayuntamiento de León. The main objective of the operation is to provide adequate conditions of habitability, use and comfort to three of the main municipal facilities located within the scope of the EDUSI León Norte, promoting efficiency gains in these pre-existing resources and helping to reduce the imbalances between the neighborhoods in the EDUSI area and others more centrally located in the city._x000D_ _x000D_ It is about improving the physical and service infrastructure in which an ecosystem of community activities can be developed in the EDUSI neighborhoods, adapting the conditions of the existing facilities and guaranteeing their future use, without disadvantages compared to other neighborhoods in the city._x000D_ _x000D_ Three high-intensity facilities of use for the inhabitants of the area and with strong social roots have been selected as priorities, specifically the Residence for the elderly "Virgen del Camino", the Civic Center with the West Sales Sports Center and the Sports Center of San Esteban, all three owned by the León City Council.
