    Obiectivul proiectului este acela de elaborare a politicii urbane ca instrument de consolidare a capacității administrative și de planificare strategică a orașelor din România în sensul fundamentării cadrului normativ, investițional și financiar și schimbării mentalității în ceea ce privește procesul de dezvoltare urbană. De asemenea, politica urbană poate sta la baza fundamentării prevederilor următorului Program Operațional Regional și a reconfigurării programelor naționale de finanțare care să vizeze dezvoltarea durabilă și incluzivă a localităților urbane.     The objective of the project is to develop urban policy as a tool for strengthening the administrative capacity and strategic planning of cities in Romania in the sense of substantiating the normative, investment and financial framework and changing the mentality regarding the urban development process. Urban policy can also underpin the provisions of the next Regional Operational Programme and reshape national funding programmes aimed at the sustainable and inclusive development of urban areas.
