Cílem je příjem odpadů a zajištění jejich materiálového využití = recyklace. Jedná se o materiálové využití plastů a plastových obalů (výroba drtě pro plastové výroky), a tedy jejich odklon od skládkování či jiných nevhodných způsobů nakládání. Velmi důležitým cílem, který je nutné zmínit z hlediska pozitivního vlivu na životní prostředí, je náhrada primárních surovin za odpady v rámci výrobních procesů. (Czech)
