Projekt přináší jedinečné propojení unikátní technologie laserového centra ELI Beamlines s moderními metodami testování památek jako jsou metody PIXE a (D)PAA. Jedinečnost je právě ve využití laserového systému jako zdroje urychlených částic pro tyto nedestruktivní testovací metody. To přináší několik základních výhod: i) možnost nedestruktivního testování bez použití vakua, ii) testování oběma metodami na jediném zařízení a iii) optimální přizpůsobení energie částic dle zkoumaného předmětu.
