Škola řeší nutnou rekonstrukci polytechnické dílny, která je již za zenitem své technické životnosti.Cílem předkládaného projektu je zvýšit kvalitu odborného vzdělávání prostřednictvím vybudování odborné učebny do stavu, který bude splňovat požadavky na moderní výukové zázemí s důrazem na možnost praktického zapojení žáků.
