The aim of this project is to restore and increase the attractiveness of the urban area of the housing estate nad Lake by repairing the composition of greenery, increasing the proportion of green infrastructure, reducing the area of impermeable areas and increasing the retention capacity of the countryside. Main objective: “Improve the living and natural environment of the city of Košice, increase biodiversity and strengthen the ecological stability of the area addressed by regenerating the urban interior space on the housing estate Nad Lake, repairing the composition of the greenery and restoring the existing green vegetation.” The goal will lead to the achievement of the goals and results of IROP support, namely by means of orchards, grassing of remediated areas, restoration of paths and sports grounds. Zámerom tohto projektu je obnova a zvýšenie atraktivity mestského vnútroblokového priestoru sídliska Nad Jazerom opravou kompozície zelene, zvýšením podielu zelenej infraštruktúry, znížením výmery nepriepustných plôch a zvyšovaním retenčnej schopnosti krajiny. Hlavný cieľ: „Skvalitniť životné a prírodné prostredie mesta Košice, zvýšiť biodiverzitu a posilniť ekologickú stabilitu riešeného územia a to regeneráciou mestského vnútroblokového priestoru na sídlisku Nad jazerom, opravou kompozície zelene a ozdravením existujúceho porastu zelene.“ Naplnenie cieľa povedie k dosiahnutiu cieľov a výsledkov podpory IROP, konkrétne sadovými úpravami, zatrávnením asanovaných plôch, obnovou chodníkov a športového ihriska.
