The project entitled “Literacy Improvement at Elementary School of Freedom” aims to increase the existing level of science, mathematical and reading literacy of primary school pupils through extracurricular activity, following mutual cooperation and exchange of experience of the applicant’s teaching staff and upgrading their qualifications. The applicant will implement the main objective of the project through 3 main activities:HA 1 – Increasing reading, mathematical and natural science literacy of pupilsHA 2 – Development of competences of employees as a tool to increase literacy of pupilsHA 3 – Coordination of the project Target group of the project are pupils of the first and second level of primary school, including pupils with SVVP, as well as the applicant’s pedagogical staff.The location of the project activities is the less developed region – the city of Košice. Projekt s názvom „Zvyšovanie gramotnosti na ZŠ Slobody“ je zameraný na zvýšenie existujúcej úrovne prírodovednej, matematickej a čitateľskej gramotnosti žiakov základnej školy prostredníctvom mimoškolskej činnosti, v nadväznosti na vzájomnú spoluprácu a výmenu skúseností pedagogických zamestnancov žiadateľa a zvýšenie ich kvalifikácie. Žiadateľ bude realizovať hlavný cieľ projektu prostredníctvom 3 hlavných aktivít:HA 1 – Zvyšovanie čitateľskej, matematickej a prírodovednej gramotnosti žiakovHA 2 – Rozvoj kompetencií zamestnancov ako nástroj zvýšenia gramotnosti žiakovHA 3 – Koordinácia projektuCieľovou skupinou projektu sú žiaci prvého a druhého stupňa základnej školy vrátane žiakov so ŠVVP, ako aj pedagogickí zamestnanci žiadateľa.Miestom realizácie aktivít projektu je menej rozvinutý región - mesto Košice.Projekt bude realizovaný na základe identifikovanej potreby na strane žiadateľa ako aj výsledkov žiakov v testovaní 9 a vlastnej skúsenosti žiadateľa pri práci so žiakmi zo znevýhodneného prostredia.
