The aim of the project is to ensure that recipients of social services remain in their natural home environment through affordable community-based care by increasing the capacity of the care service provided. A direct contribution to the objectives of the OPHR will be to reduce the demand for institutional residential care, to build up the capacity of domestic services as well as to increase local employment. The objective will be met through the main activity – the provision of care services. The place of management and implementation of the project will be the seat of Senior Trend, n.o. and the place of care will be the homes of clients in different municipalities in the district of Čadca. The target groups of the project under the call are children (minors) and adults who are provided with social services as well as employees implementing social inclusion policies and measures in both the public and non-public sectors. Most of our clients – recipients of social services – are from the rural areas of the Kysuce region, where they are often heavily isolated and the availability of services is insufficient. The region is characterised by the fact that local authorities provide residential services only in large institutional-type facilities, there is currently no community-type facility for pensioners and care services are implemented with alarmingly insufficient capacity. The direct benefits of the implementation of this project for the target groups will be to ensure the availability of care services in both capacity and price terms, to reduce social exclusion and segregation, to improve quality of life, to ensure that they remain in their home environment and to create jobs for disadvantaged people. Measurable indicators have been defined by the call promoter, with the first indicator tracking the number of supported capacities of new, innovative services or measures at community level, in a home environment, open environment or substitute environment where the service capacity unit is defined by one full-time employee directly providing the service and the second indicator tracks the number of implemented projects of the applicant focusing on social services at national, regional and local level. Cieľom projektu je zabezpečenie zotrvania prijímateľov sociálnej služby v ich prirodzenom domácom prostredí formou cenovo dostupnej komunitnej starostlivosti prostredníctvom zvýšenia kapacity poskytovanej opatrovateľskej služby. Priamym prínosom k cieľom OP ĽZ bude zníženie dopytu po inštitucionálnej pobytovej starostlivosti, ďalej vybudovanie kapacít služieb poskytovaných v domácom prostredí a tiež zvýšenie miestnej zamestnanosti. Cieľ bude napĺňaný prostredníctvom hlavnej aktivity – poskytovanie opatrovateľskej služby. Miestom riadenia a realizácie projektu bude sídlo Senior Trend, n.o. a miestom výkonu opatrovateľskej služby budú domácnosti klientov v rozličných obciach v okrese Čadca.
