Professional School of Technical Šurany is currently the only secondary vocational school in the region of Nové Zámky (Nitriansky Region), dealing with complex training of pupils in engineering, electrical engineering and mechatronics, with an impact on the regions of Vráble, Zlaté Moravce, Šaľa and Komárno. Pupils from 36 primary schools attend school. The school is the centre of vocational education and training in engineering and electrical engineering in the region. The aim of the project is mainly the acquisition and modernisation of material and technical equipment of professional workplaces, workshops and professional classrooms for vocational training in taught fields based on the needs of employers with whom we cooperate. Since 1996 the school has been working closely with OSRAM a. s. Nové Zámky on the basis of the Treaty on the preparation of pupils. We have gradually concluded cooperation agreements with other companies: Muehlbauer Technologies, s.r.o. Nitra, Cikautxo SK s.r.o. Nové Zámky, Wőhrle Šurany, ŽSR and other companies in the region such as ORGECO Nové Zámky, Metalworking Šurany, Thermotechnica Nové Zámky, Kabelschlepp Nové Zámky, MASAM Vráble and other companies. Stredná odborná škola technická Šurany je v súčasnosti jedinou strednou odbornou školou v regióne Nové Zámky (Nitriansky kraj), zaoberajúcou sa komplexnou prípravou žiakov v strojárstve, elektrotechnike a mechatronike, s dosahom i na regióny Vráble, Zlaté Moravce, Šaľa až Komárno. Školu navštevujú žiaci z 36 základných škôl. Škola je centrom odborného vzdelávania a prípravy v strojárstve a elektrotechnike v danom regióne. Cieľom projektu je predovšetkým obstaranie a modernizácia materiálno-technického vybavenia odborných pracovísk, dielní a odborných učební pre odborný výcvik vo vyučovaných odboroch na základe potrieb zamestnávateľov, s ktorými spolupracujeme. Od roku 1996 škola úzko spolupracuje s firmou OSRAM a. s. Nové Zámky na základe Zmluvy o príprave žiakov. Postupne sme uzatvorili zmluvy o spolupráci s ďalšími firmami: Muehlbauer Technologies,s.r.o. Nitra, Cikautxo SK s.r.o. Nové Zámky, Wőhrle Šurany, ŽSR a ďalšie firmy v regióne, ako je ORGECO Nové Zámky, Kovoobrábanie Šurany, Termotechnika Nové Zámky, Kabelschlepp Nové Zámky, MASAM Vráble a ďalšie firmy. Bude taktiež obstaraný a modernizovaný softvér pre IKT v strojárstve, elektrotechnike a mechatronike. (Slovak)
