The aim of the project is to develop the infrastructure for cycling and thus create conditions for increasing the share of cycling transport as part of the division of transport work in Vrútky with a connection to cycling accessibility also to the neighbouring town of Martin. As part of the presented project, a separate cycle path will be built in the cadastre of the town of Vrútky starting at the border of the cadastral area Martin – Vrútky, where it will follow the part of the cycle path in the k.ú. The trench (solved by a separate project of the city of Martin – even with a separate PD) project continued along the left seafront of the river Turiec with a length of 0.131 km to the bridge for pedestrians, from which the paved footpath for pedestrians and cyclists, which goes smoothly to the street, will be built. Deep yard mouthing into S. Zachar Square in Vrútky. Part of the cycle path will be 2 newly created rest areas. Along the cycle path and the newly built rest area, public lighting will be solved by luminaires located on the light poles. For cycling and its surroundings, the project will procure mobile phones – benches, bicycle stands, trash baskets, information and educational boards. 2 resting places will be designed as a paved area of locking paving lined with a park curb. Cieľom projektu je rozvinúť infraštruktúru pre cyklodopravu a tým vytvoriť podmienky pre zvýšenie podielu cyklodopravy v rámci deľby prepravnej práce v meste Vrútky s prepojením na cyklodopravnú dostupnosť aj do susedného mesta Martin. V rámci predkladaného projektu sa vybuduje samostatná cyklocestička v katastri mesta Vrútky začínajúca pri hranici katastrálneho územia Martin - Vrútky, kde bude nadväzovať na časť cyklocestičky v k.ú. Priekopa (riešené samostatným projektom mesta Martin - aj so samostatnou PD) projektom riešená trasa pokračuje v po ľavom nábreží rieky Turiec v dĺžke 0,131 km po most pre peších, od ktorého ďalej už vedie spevnený chodník pre peších a cyklistov, ktorý plynule prejde do ul. Hlboký dvor ústiacej do Námestia S. Zachara vo Vrútkach. Súčasťou cyklocestičky budú 2 novovytvorené oddychové plochy. Pozdĺž cyklocestičky a novovybudovanej oddychovej plochy bude riešené verejné osvetlenie svietidlami umiestnenými na svetelných stĺpoch. Pre cyklochodníček a jeho okolie sa projektom obstará mobiliár - lavičky, stojany na bicykle, smetné koše, informačné a náučné tabule. 2 oddychové miesta budú riešené ako spevnená plocha zo zámkovej dlažby lemovaná parkovým obrubníkom.
