The aim of the project is to modernise and improve the technical equipment of the language classroom and ICT classroom at the Royal Svätopluka Elementary School, Dražovská 6, in Nitra, and to ensure quality education and training of pupils in the field of language competences and acquisition of skills and experience when working with computer and digital technologies. The submitted grant application is also to improve the results of pupils in the international measurement of achieved knowledge and in national measurement Testing 9 and preparing pupils for further study at secondary and higher education institutions. The expected result will be to ensure adequate conditions for the development of pupils’ key competences in line with the requirements of their future occupational orientation, linking theoretical and practical education in primary school to labour market needs and thus improving the placement of young people on the labour market.     The target group is the pupils of the fully organised Primary School of King Svätopluk in Nitra, which meets the principles of optimisation of the network of schools and school facilities. The number of pupils in the school currently stands at 294 pupils. The age structure of pupils is 6-15 years. At the school there are 22 pupils included in the care of the school special pedagogue, their number is constantly increasing.     The project will support one ICT classroom focused on building the foundations of computer science, solving problems with computers, forming critical, creative, pro-social thinking, ability to analyse facts and problems related to the needs of society, and one language classroom, where the goal will be to make the pupil able to solve everyday life situations in a foreign country, but also to help foreigners solve problems in our country.     The development of equipment and equipment will help primary school to function as a lifelong learning centre and make it accessible to the public in line with lifelong learning needs.    The place of implementation is Pavilion B at the Elementary School of King Svätopluk in Nitra.     Cieľom projektu je modernizácia a zlepšenie technického vybavenia jazykovej učebne a IKT učebne na Základnej škole Kráľa Svätopluka, Dražovská 6, v Nitre a zabezpečenie kvalitného vzdelávania a odbornej prípravy žiakov v oblasti jazykových kompetencií a získanie zručností a skúseností pri práci s počítačom a digitálnymi technológiami. Predloženou žiadosťou o NFP je taktiež zlepšenie výsledkov žiakov v medzinárodnom meraní dosiahnutých vedomostí a v národnom meraní Testovanie 9 a príprava žiakov na ďalšie štúdium na stredných a vysokých školách. Očakávaným výsledkom bude zabezpečenie primeraných podmienok pre rozvoj kľúčových kompetencií žiakov v súlade s požiadavkami ich budúcej profesijnej orientácie, prepojenie teoretického a praktického vzdelávania na základnej škole s potrebami trhu práce a tým zlepšenie umiestnenia mladých ľudí na trhu práce.     Cieľovou skupinou sú žiaci plnoorganizovanej Základnej školy kráľa Svätopluka v Nitre, ktorá spĺňa zásady optimalizácie siete škôl a školských zariadení. Počet žiakov na škole je v súčasnosti 294 žiakov. Veková štruktúra žiakov je 6 – 15 rokov. Na škole je 22 začlenených žiakov v starostlivosti školského špeciálneho pedagóga, ich počet sa neustále zvyšuje.     Prostredníctvom projektu bude podporená jedna IKT učebňa zameraná na budovanie základov informatiky, na riešenie problémov pomocou počítačov, formovanie kritického, tvorivého, prosociálneho myslenia, schopnosť analyzovať fakty a problémy v súvislosti s potrebami spoločnosti a jedna jazyková učebňa, kde bude cieľom dosiahnuť, aby žiak dokázal riešiť každodenné životné situácie v cudzej krajine, ale vedel pomôcť aj cudzincom pri riešení problémov u nás.     Rozvoj materiálno-technického vybavenia pomôže základnej školy z hľadiska jej funkcie ako centra celoživotného vzdelávania a jej sprístupnenie pre verejnosť v súlade s potrebami celoživotného vzdelávania.    Miestom realizácie je Pavilón B na Základnej škole kráľa Svätopluka v Nitre.
