The strategic objective of the project is to modernise the educational process by procuring professional science classrooms and thus develop key competences enhancing the competitiveness of the Golianova 8 elementary school pupil in further education and the labour market. The specific objectives of the project to link theoretical and practical education, to improve and make the teaching process more attractive, to raise the level of interest of pupils in vocational education, to improve the performance of pupils in national measurement, to improve the conditions for lifelong learning, to improve the safety of pupils at work in vocational classrooms, to equal access to education and education, to develop learning, communication and cooperation in teams contributing to the demolition of barriers to pupils’ diversity, linking information technologies to science subjects. The objectives of the project are in line with the IROP global objective, is fully in line with thematic objective No. 10 – Investing in education, skills and lifelong learning, Investment Priority 2.2: Investing in education, training and training, skills and lifelong learning through the development of education and training infrastructure and the specific objective ‘Improving key competences of primary school pupils’.  The project contributes to the economic aspect of investing in education, skills and lifelong learning and the social aspect promoting employment and labour mobility. Main activities Procurement of professional science classroom Physics Acquisition of professional science classroom biology Acquisition of professional science classroom chemistry Building modifications of professional science classroomsThe place of implementation of the project is the Primary School Golianova 8, Banská Bystrica, the target group are pupils of 1-9 years of this school.   By implementing this project, the city of Banská Bystrica fulfils an integrated project providing quality training rooms for pupils of all primary schools established by the city.     Strategický cieľ projektu:Hlavným cieľom projektu je obstaraním odborných prírodovedných učební modernizovať výchovno-vzdelávací proces a tak rozvíjať kľúčové kompetencie zvyšujúce konkurencieschopnosť žiaka Základnej školy Golianova 8 v ďalšom vzdelávaní a na trhu práce. Špecifické ciele projektuprepojenie teoretického a praktického vzdelávania,skvalitnenie a zatraktívnenie vyučovacieho procesu,zvýšiť úroveň záujmu žiakov v odbornom vzdelávaní,zlepšenie výsledkov žiakov v národnom meraní,skvalitnenie podmienok pre celoživotné vzdelávanie,bezpečnosť žiakov pri práci v odborných učebniach,rovnocenný prístup k výchove a vzdelávaniu,rozvoj učenia sa, komunikácie a spolupráce v tímoch s prispením k búraniu bariér pri rôznorodosti žiakov,prepojenie informačných technológií s prírodovednými predmetmi.Ciele projektu sú v súlade s globálnym cieľom IROP, je plne v súlade s tematickým cieľom č. 10 – Investovanie do vzdelania, zručností a celoživotného vzdelávania, Investičnou prioritou č. 2.2: Investovanie do vzdelania, školení a odbornej prípravy, zručností a celoživotného vzdelávania prostredníctvom vývoja vzdelávacej a výcvikovej infraštruktúry a špecifickým cieľom Zlepšenie kľúčových kompetencií žiakov základných škôl.  Projekt prispieva k ekonomickému aspektu investovania do vzdelávania, zručností a celoživotného vzdelávania a sociálnemu aspektu podpora zamestnanosti a mobility pracovnej sily. Hlavné aktivity  Obstaranie odbornej prírodovednej učebne fyziky Obstaranie odbornej prírodovednej učebne biológie Obstaranie odbornej prírodovednej učebne chémie Stavebné úpravy odborných prírodovedných učebníMiestom realizácie projektu je Základná škola Golianova 8, Banská Bystrica, cieľovou skupinou sú žiaci ročníkov 1 - 9 tejto školy.   Realizáciou tohto projektu mesto Banská Bystrica napĺňa integrovaný projekt zabezpečenia kvalitných priestorov odborných učební pre žiakov všetkých základných škôl zriadené mestom.
