The subject of this project is the construction of cycling infrastructure in the town of Piešt’any. The aim of the project is to increase the capacity of non-motorised transport, to increase the number of persons transported through cycling and to build citizens’ interest in cycling. One of the initiatives for the submission of the project was the growing number of inhabitants of the city using cycling. Thanks to the implementation of the project, the city will be able to meet the needs of citizens associated with the use of non-motorised transport. The stated objective of the project will be achieved through the realisation of one main activity of the project “Construction of infrastructure for non-motorised transport” and support activities – publicity of the project and internally managed project with a total duration of 13 months. Construction and support activities will be carried out within the framework of these activities. The realised project will result in the achievement of a measurable project indicator: length of new cycle roads – 1.0 km. The place of implementation of the project is the town of Piešt’any. Predmetom predkladaného projektu je vybudovanie cyklistickej infraštruktúry v meste Piešťany. Cieľom projektu je zvýšenie kapacity nemotorovej dopravy, zvýšenie počtu prepravovaných osôb prostredníctvom cyklistickej dopravy a budovanie záujmu občanov o využívanie cyklistickej dopravy. Jedným z podnetov pre predloženie projektu bol práve rastúci počet obyvateľov mesta využívajúcich cyklistickú dopravu. Vďaka realizácii projektu bude mesto schopné uspokojiť potreby občanov spojené s využívaním nemotorovej dopravy. Vytýčený cieľ projektu bude dosiahnutý zrealizovaním jednej hlavnej aktivity projektu „Výstavba infraštruktúry pre nemotorovú dopravu“ a podporných aktivít – publicita projektu a interné riadene projektu s celkovou dĺžkou trvania 13 mesiacov. V rámci týchto aktivít budú uskutočnené stavebné práce a podporné aktivity. Výsledkom zrealizovaného projektu bude dosiahnutie merateľného ukazovateľa projektu: dĺžka nových úsekov cyklistických komunikácií – 1,0 km. Miestom realizácie projektu je mesto Piešťany. (Slovak)
