The subject of the project is the design of the reconstruction of the pre-stational premises of the railway station. The area covered is defined from the east side by the park Višňovský, on the south side by the railway station, on the west side by the area of greenery in front of the post building and circular junction, on the north side by T.G.Masaryka street, four-lane communication functional class B2 MZ 20/60, road III. Class 2452. From an urban-architectural point of view, the proposed solution of the Prestaničná Space builds on the original concept, including respect for the extent of green spaces. The dominant element of the space is greenery consisting of 6 surfaces with a rectangular plan shape and one surface with trapezoidal plan shape. The subject of reconstruction are areas of existing roads, public transport platforms, parking lot, paved areas, utilities and green spaces. As part of the reconstruction, the top layers of parking areas, roads and paved areas will be remedied. Newly designed areas of parking lots, roads, cycling paths and paved areas are designed from rectangular concrete paving in combination of colour shades of grey, graphite and red. Within the car park, progressive forms of parking are proposed for Park & Ride (P+R), Kiss & Ride (K+R), Bike & Ride (B+R). As part of the modifications of the areas of greenery, the re-evaluation of the existing greenery and the completion of the area in connection with the original solution is solved. The original trees will be preserved only the most valuable, the newly designed greenery will consist of the foundation of lawns and planting of deciduous trees in order to improve the microclimatic conditions of the area addressed. Existing furniture and street lighting poles will be dismantled and removed. 3 public transport stops, tourist guide and monument with bust Doc. Ing. Pavol Višňovský will be relocated. The newly designed mobile phone consists of benches, garbage baskets, gardening pillars, protective grilles, posters board, information illuminated board and information carrier with directional arrows. Illumination of the prestand area is designed from mast lamps situated in part of paved areas, parking lot and at roads, low park lights in the part of the premises with set finishes and lamps in the pavement under the benches. Preserved remains the object of the medokýša and bike stands situated in front of the eastern facade of the station. Existing fire hydrants remain unchanged. Due to the fact that the main compositional axis between bus and railway station to the axis of the ŽST building is shifted – existing pedestrian crossings through Masaryk Street will be shifted.     Predmetom riešenia projektu je návrh rekonštrukcie predstaničných priestorov železničnej stanice. Riešené územie je vymedzené z východnej strany parkom Višňovského, z južnej strany železničnou stanicou, zo západnej strany plochou zelene pred budovou pošty a kruhovou križovatkou, zo severnej strany ulicou T.G.Masaryka, štvorpruhovou komunikáciou funkčnej triedy B2 MZ 20/60, cesta III. triedy 2452. Z hľadiska urbanisticko-architektonického navrhované riešenie predstaničného priestoru nadväzuje na pôvodnú koncepciu vrátane rešpektovania rozsahu plôch zelene. Dominantným prvkom priestoru je zeleň pozostávajúca zo 6 plôch s obdĺžnikovým pôdorysným tvarom a jednej plochy s lichobežníkovým pôdorysným  tvarom. Predmetom rekonštrukcie sú priestory existujúcich komunikácií, nástupísk MHD, parkoviska, spevnených plôch, inžinierskych sietí a plôch zelene. V rámci rekonštrukcie budú asanované vrchné vrstvy plôch parkovísk, komunikácií a spevnených plôch. Novonavrhované plochy parkovísk, komunikácií, cyklistického chodníka a spevnených plôch sú riešené z pravouhlej betónovej dlažby v kombinácii farebných odtieňov sivej, grafitovej a červenej. V rámci parkoviska sú navrhované progresívne formy parkovania Park & Ride (P+R), Kiss & Ride (K+R), Bike & Ride (B+R) . V rámci úprav plôch zelene je riešené prehodnotenie jestvujúcej zelene a dotvorenie riešeného územia v nadväznosti na pôvodné riešenie. Z pôvodných drevín budú zachované len najhodnotnejšie, novonavrhovaná zeleň bude pozostávať zo založenia trávnikov a z výsadby listnatých stromov s cieľom zlepšovať mikroklimatické podmienky riešeného územia. Demontovaný a odstránený bude existujúci mobiliár a stĺpy verejného osvetlenia. Premiestnené budú 3 zastávky MHD, turistický smerovník a pomník s bustou Doc. Ing. Pavla Višňovského. Novonavrhovaný mobiliár pozostáva z lavičiek, odpadkových košov, zahradzovacích stĺpikov, ochranných mreží, tabule na lepenie plagátov, informačnej osvetlenej tabule a informačného nosiča so smerovými šípkami. Osvetlenie predstaničného priestoru je riešené zo stožiarových svietidiel situovaných v časti spevnených plôch, parkoviska a pri komunikáciách, nízkych parkových svietidiel v časti priestorov so sadovými úpravami a svietidlami v dlažbe pod lavičkami.Zachovaný zostáva objekt medokýša a stojany na bicykle situované pred východnou fasádou stanice. Bez zmeny ostávajú existujúce požiarne hydranty. Vzhľadom na to, že sa posúva hlavná kompozičná os medzi autobusovou a železničnou stanicou na os budovy ŽST, upravené - posunuté budú aj jestvujúce pešie prechody cez Masarykovu ulicu.
