Property / summary: Respiratory complications are among the most serious in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic. The aim of the project is to improve treatments in the field of respirology with a positive impact on improving the health of the population during the COVID 19 pandemic and to reduce the necessary period of hospitalisation, as well as to facilitate the treatment of patients whose course of the disease is severe and reduce these serious symptoms. The results of independent research and development, which will be published on an ongoing basis, will have the potential to enable businesses to introduce innovative products in production, capable of competing on the world markets and thus creating new employment opportunities in Slovakia. From the perspective of the project’s main results in case of its implementation: a ventilator with even better properties such as improved oxygen transfer into the blood, improvement of filling and emptying of even those vesicles that previous ventilation algorithms have not yet been able to open a prototype of a complex system that would allow young doctors to handle in the shortest possible time without compromising the patient the necessary practical skills for artificial lung ventilation using advanced methods – and in this area a patent application filed in this field, the design of a prototype adapter with a solved safe dispensing of different types of gases in the lung fans and ventilation circuits would allow their safe application to patients. The protocol of the electrical stimulus designed to maintain the patient’s non-continuous minutes would be possible to shorten the test procedure of the patient’s high speed test.
