    Riešená cesta II/536 plní funkciu napojenia spádových obcí do okresného mesta Kežmarok v severnom smere, taktiež zabezpečuje priame napojenie mesta Spišská Nová Ves. Spojenie priľahlých miest Poprad a Levoča je zabezpečené prostredníctvom ciest I/18 a D1. Zároveň riešená cestná komunikácia je alternatívnym spojením Thermal parku Vrbov a TEN-T siete, keďže cesta II/536 je následne napojená na cesty I/18, I/66 a D1 smerujúce na súhrnnú sieť TEN-T.V rámci stavby je riešená modernizácia cesty II/536 na úseku Spišský Štvrtok – Kežmarok so začiatkom úpravy v km 32,240 a cez obce Abrahámovce, Vlková a Vrbov s koncom úpravy v km 39,972 v dĺžke 7,732 km, výstavba nového priepustu DN 800 v km 33,006 a doplnenie meteorologickej stanice v obci Vrbov. Realizáciou projektu sa eliminujú nebezpečné prvky, čo bude mať priaznivý vplyv na skrátenie doby premávky na cestnej komunikácií, prispeje sa k úspore času vrátane VOD, zlepší sa plynulosť premávky a tým jej bezpečnosť dopravy. Celkovo sa zlepšia podmienky cestnej dopravy pre obyvateľov a návštevníkov funkčného regiónu Prešov, Kežmarok a Spišská Nová Ves. Tieto skutočnosti budú úmerne vplývať na zvýšenie atraktivity regiónu, zvýši sa mobilita a ekologická doprava, čo zlepší kvalitu životného prostredia dotknutej krajiny. Výsledkom projektu je najmä rekonštrukcia a modernizácia cesty II. triedy v dĺžke 7,732 km. (Slovak)

    The designed road II/536 performs the function of connecting the catchment villages to the district town of Kežmarok in the north direction, also provides direct connection to the town of Spišská Nová Ves. The connection of the adjacent towns Poprad and Levoča is ensured through roads I/18 and D1. At the same time, the road is an alternative connection between Thermal Park Vrbov and TEN-T network, since the road II/536 is then connected to roads I/18, I/66 and D1 towards the comprehensive TEN-T network. Within the construction, the modernisation of the road II/536 on the section Spišský Thursday – Kežmarok with the beginning of the modification in km 32,240 and through the villages Abrahámovce, Vlková and Vrbov with the end of the modification in km 39,972 in the length of 7.732 km, construction of a new DN pass 800 km in 33,006 and the addition of the meteorological station in the village Vrbov. The implementation of the project will eliminate dangerous elements, which will have a positive impact on the shortening of road traffic times, will contribute to saving time, including VOD, improving traffic fluidity and thus its transport safety. Overall, road transport conditions for residents and visitors of the functional region Prešov, Kežmarok and Spišská Nová Ves will improve. This will have a proportionate impact on increasing the region’s attractiveness, mobility and green transport, which will improve the quality of the environment of the country concerned. The result of the project is mainly reconstruction and modernisation of the second class road with a length of 7,732 km. (English)
