Imbunatatirea accesibilitatii regiunii si mobilitatii populatiei, bunurilor si serviciilor, in vederea stimularii dezvoltarii economice durabile - prin fluidizarea traficului, decongestionarea traficului in zonele tranzitate. • Cresterea mobilitatatii populatiei si a bunurilor – prin reducerea timpului de calatorie datorat sporirii vitezei de parcurs si implicit a timpului afectat transportului de marfuri si calatori • Reducerea costurilor de transport – prin realizarea acestui proiect, soferii vor economisi timp si energie si isi vor reduce cheltuielile cu combustibilul si intretinerea autovehicolelor. • Cresterea gradului de siguranta al traficului - prin fluidizarea traficului • Inlesnirea cooperarii inter-regionale, atragerea investitiilor interne si externe, cresterea competitivitatii intreprinderilor/firmelor si a mobilitatii fortei de munca si, prin urmare, o dezvoltare mai rapida a regiunii si, in final, a Romaniei.
